Hello Everyone!
Here is my promised second installment of "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything" by Linda Williams. This time I concentrated on the verbs in the story. My little packet contains a verb poem (complete with actions!) to go along with the story, a quick matching page, and a 7 page mini book the kids can make, and show application. Hope they will get the whole idea of Verbs after this little unit! Here are a few quick pics.
For your own copy of this 9 page mini unit, wiggle on over and click here!
OKAY! Gearing up for the fun planned for tomorrow!!
Talk you you soon!
Joyfully!
Nancy

Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteNancy,
ReplyDeleteYou are truly an inspiration! I'm a newbie blogger and second grade teacher. I find myself relying on you, almost daily, for ideas in my class. Your curriculum seems very aligned to our S.C. 2nd grade's, so your ideas work very well for us! I cannot get over the fact that you post everything for FREE either.
Thankfully,
Brooke
Oh, and I meant to share "the verb rap" and "the noun song" with you. Go to www.havefunteaching.com to download the words and listen to the song. I post the words on my pro-board while we sing along, and I promise your kids will never forget what verbs are!
